When my family and I moved to Marrakech at the beginning of August 2025, I honestly wasn’t sure how I’d find my way back into performing. New city, new language, no connections… it was a little overwhelming. But somehow, things started falling into place much faster than I expected. I happened to be in the right place at the right time and was invited to sing at my very first gig here in Marrakech.
And now, I’m really happy—and honestly quite honored—to share that I’ve been invited to perform at the very first Coffee and Tea Festival in Marrakech. Even better, my good friend and pianist, Siu Tin Chi, will be flying in from Holland to play for me. We haven’t performed together since our last show in Hong Kong about six years ago, so it feels extra special to reunite for this.
The festival runs from December 6–8, and we’ll be performing a 30-minute set on December 7th and 8th. I’ll post an update on my IG Story as soon as I know the lineup and the exact time I’ll be performing—so stay tuned!
We’re both super excited and can’t wait to share some music with everyone.

“In 2020, I teamed up to write a one woman show with my dearest friend and writing partner, Micah Sandt. We started off writing in person and via zoom throughout the pandemic, my pregnancy, and finally when I moved back to the U.S. to be closer to family. We did our first reading in Hong Kong in May 2022 and our second reading was in Alameda, CA in April 2024. We hope to bring the show to New York, Hong Kong and perhaps travel around in Cabaret Festivals one day in the near future…”
